New Aggie Checklist
Create your myNMSU student account. Go to my.nmsu.edu to get started.
Make your orientation reservation at awo.nmsu.edu. Email awo@nmsu.edu if you have questions.
Confirm with your NMSU admissions advisor that we have your ACT or SAT scores, high school transcripts, and any dual credit/college transcripts. (Final high school transcripts are required after you have graduated.) Contact Undergraduate Admissions at admissions@nmsu.edu or 575-646-3121.
Apply for housing and/or meal plans or submit a residency exemption request through myNMSU. Log in to my.nmsu.edu, click the Student tab and go to MyHousing.
Verify your student financial aid and/or scholarship status through myNMSU. Log in to my.nmsu.edu, click the Student tab and go to Financial Aid. To apply for financial aid, use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at studentaid.ed.gov.
Take the Math Placement Exam (MPE) if you are required to do so.
Become familiar with the Aggie Schedule Builder by watching the instructional video. Go to goaggies.nmsu.edu to get started.
Upload a photo for your Aggie ID card at idcard.nmsu.edu. Your ID card will be printed and ready for pick up at the end of your orientation program.
